Using Sol responsibly

These terms govern the controlled Sol proof of concept owned and operated by Edra, Inc..

Eligibility and invitations

Sol is currently available only to approved participants ages 13 through 21 and authorized caregivers and staff. A private enrollment invitation is personal, revocable, and only for its intended recipient. A minor may participate only through the approved permission and assent process.

Research participation is separate

Agreeing to these terms does not by itself mean that you consent to research. Research participation requires the separate caregiver consent or permission, adult learner consent, or learner assent shown during onboarding. Participation remains voluntary.

Accounts and security

Provide accurate information, protect your password and enrollment link, sign out on shared devices, and promptly tell support@edra1.com about suspected unauthorized access. Edra may revoke an invitation, pause access, close conversations, or sign out sessions for safety, security, protocol, legal, or misuse reasons while preserving required audit records.

Appropriate use

Use only your own account. Do not impersonate another person, upload malware or unlawful material, submit records you are not authorized to provide, bypass security controls, disrupt the service, or use Sol as an emergency, diagnostic, clinical, legal, eligibility, or official educational decision-making system.

Your words and documents

You retain rights you hold in content you provide. You give Edra and approved research personnel limited permission to host, protect, transcribe, analyze, reproduce, and create draft outputs from that content only to operate Sol, support participants, conduct the approved research, and meet security or legal obligations. This permission is subject to the published retention and withdrawal rules.

Drafts require professional review

Sol can produce inaccurate, incomplete, biased, or poorly phrased responses and drafts. Sol does not provide a diagnosis, determine eligibility, create an official IEP or education plan, or replace professional judgment. A qualified person must review and correct a draft before anyone relies on or shares it.

Safety and third-party channels

Sol is not an emergency service and is not continuously monitored. Optional Telegram and WhatsApp/Twilio channels have separate terms and privacy practices; the web experience remains available without them. See the safeguarding notice for urgent-risk and confidentiality limits.

Stopping access

You may stop using Sol at any time. Edra may suspend or terminate access to protect a participant or the service. Research withdrawal and record handling follow the separate participant information, Privacy Policy, and safeguarding notice.

Disclaimers and legal rights

To the extent permitted by law, Sol is provided as a research prototype without a promise that it will be uninterrupted, error-free, or fit for a clinical, diagnostic, legal, eligibility, or official educational purpose. Nothing in these terms limits a right that cannot lawfully be limited, asks a research participant to waive legal rights, or releases Edra, the researcher, the University of Cambridge, or another person from responsibility for negligence or other liability that cannot lawfully be excluded.

Governing law

These terms are governed by Wyoming law, without regard to conflict-of-laws principles, except that mandatory consumer, privacy, child-protection, and research-participant protections in your jurisdiction continue to apply.

Contact and changes
